Connamara Provides Technology for American Financial Exchange

Connamara technology is powering the American Financial Exchange (AFX) launched on December 11, 2015. With this launch, small and midsized American banks now have a market for interbank loans that is suited serve the unique local conditions and banking dynamics of this banking sector.

Connamara provided the Matching Engine (continuously matched, central limit order book), the web-based order entry and management platform, and the integration to Northern Trust, the settlement bank for the exchange.

Connamara was able to deliver the platform by leveraging our 17 years of software engineering for capital markets, coupled with our proven software development methodologies, and our deep industry knowledge.
